GREEN JUICE

Green juice is probably the best way to start your day. They are extracts from pressed greens and vegetables, free from fiber. This juice acts as a pure elixir from nature that:


  • is quickly absorbed

  • doesn't burden the digestive system

  • allows cells to instantly absorb nutrients



Benefits:


  • cleanses the body

  • detoxifies the lymphatic system

  • strengthens the immune system

  • reduces inflammation

  • helps restore the gastrointestinal lining

  • provides a sense of lightness

  • enhances mental clarity


When to Drink?


  • In the morning, on an empty stomach (it's advisable to drink water beforehand) – this is the best time for absorption. It is recommended to start each day with green juice and it's suitable to drink them once a day. However, if you have serious health conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, autoimmune disorders, kidney diseases, etc., it is advisable to drink the juices twice a day – in the morning and later in the day, for example, before dinner.

  • When you experience inflammation, swelling, fatigue or have symptoms or diagnoses of chronic illnesses – juice can become a healing drink.


Classic ingredients: celery, cucumbers, spinach, kale, cilantro, lemon and ginger. You can also add a bit of apple for sweetness.


Below, I will share four green juice recipes that I incorporate into my daily routine.


Celery Juice

Anthony Williams, a medical medium, recommends an incredibly powerful green juice tool: 100% celery juice. Here’s what it offers:


  • cleanses the body of various bacteria and viruses

  • improves digestive system function

  • heals intestinal diseases

  • enhances skin condition

  • cleanses the blood and lymphatic system

  • strengthens the immune system

  • reduces inflammatory processes

  • improves liver function

  • lowers cholesterol levels

  • helps restore adrenal function.


Instructions for celery juice:


  • drink daily,

  • consume 1-2 hours before breakfast (the easier the food is to digest during breakfast, the less time you'll need to wait after drinking the celery juice).

  • it’s most effective if you drink it immediately after juicing, rather than after some time has passed.



Lou Corona's Juice

Lou Corona is a living (raw) plant-based food and health activist from the United States, known for his years of experience, inspiring story and vibrant energy, despite being over 70 years old (he looks and moves as if he were in his 40s!). His journey towards a healthier life began in his youth when, at the age of 21, he suffered from several serious health issues, including asthma, arthritis, tumors, migraines and chronic constipation. When doctors couldn’t help him, he turned to a holistic approach, found a mentor and adopted a strict raw vegan diet.


For over 50 years, Lou Corona has been drinking these detoxifying, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic and anti-cancer juices daily.


Ingredients:


  • Celery

  • Ginger

  • Turmeric

  • Mint

  • Lemon

  • Cilantro

  • Parsley

  • Cucumber

  • 2 Apples

  • Spinach

  • Kale

  • Broccoli (optional)

  • Pepper (optional)

  • If the juice is too intense, you can add a little water.


Green Guru

This is a simplified version of Lou Corona's green juice that I brought back from a plant-based restaurant's menu in Bali.


Ingredients:


  • Kale leaves

  • Apple

  • Cucumber

  • Celery

  • Lemon / Lime

  • Ginger


Green Juice for Bloating, Constipation and Similar Digestive Issues


Ingredients:


  • Lemon

  • Fennel

  • Mint

  • Celery

  • Cucumbers
