Marzipan eggs for your Easter table! Outside of the Easter season, they can be shaped into little balls or any other form you like. This dessert closely resembles marzipan candies, especially if you dip them all in chocolate.

Ingredients
100 g of almond flour
40 g of maple syrup / honey / date syrup or another sweetener of your choice
A drop of vanilla extract (optional)
30 g of cocoa / carob powder / or 30 g of dark chocolate
Instructions
I mix almond flour with my favorite sweetener and vanilla extract. I stir everything well, first with a spoon and then with my hands. The mixture should come together in a way that makes it easy to shape into treats. I place the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Next, I form the candies into little eggs, balls or any other shape I like using my slightly damp hands.
There are a few options for decorating the candies:
First, I roll the candies in carob powder or cocoa.
Second, I use melted chocolate. I melt the chocolate using a double boiler. I dip the candies into the chocolate - either half or fully, depending on your preference.
I then place the candies in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

BON APPETIT!
