BBQ SAUCE

This rich and flavorful BBQ sauce is perfect for your summer (and beyond!). I have no doubt that it will be the star of your summer lunches, dinners or barbecue gatherings. In our home, we enjoy it with cauliflower wings, crispy fries or plant-based burgers. But really, it goes well with just about anything, even veggie sticks!

Ingredients
400 g of crushed tomatoes (can use fresh or canned ones)
7-8 sun-dried tomatoes
9 small dates / 7 Medjool dates
1 teaspoon of mustard
A splash of lemon juice
Spices: 3 teaspoons of smoked paprika, 2 teaspoons of dried onion, 2 teaspoons of dried garlic, salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Place the ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend everything until smooth. This mixture will yield a fairly thick sauce. If you prefer it thinner, simply add some water. I adjust the sauce's consistency by varying the amount of water - more water makes it thinner, while less makes it thicker.
