AVOCADO TOAST WITH MUSHROOMS

Avocado toast needs no introduction; it's incredibly popular in both cafes and our homes. However, I want to share some different variations to expand your enjoyment of this delicious dish. Not only is it nutritious, but it's also satisfying, making it a great choice for brunch (remember, we aim for lighter meals until 11 a.m.! - I discuss this in more detail in my seminars) or as a hearty option alongside a generous bowl of salad for lunch!

Ingredients
Sourdough bread (see the recipe)
Avocado
0.5 onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
Mushrooms
Spices: salt, pepper, chilli flakes (if you like it spicy)
Instructions
I slice the mushrooms, chop part of the onion and sauté everything in a pan with salt and pepper for a few minutes.
Next, I prepare the avocado cream - into an S-shaped mixer, I add the avocado, some onion and garlic cloves. I blend everything until smooth.
I toast the sourdough bread in the oven or a toaster.
Now, I assemble the toast - I take the toasted bread, spread the avocado cream on top and add the sautéed mushrooms. If you like it spicy, you can sprinkle some chilli flakes on top.
I serve it alongside refreshing vegetables and greens.
